Boys Varsity Soccer · HAWKS UNABLE TO HOLD OFF SECOND HALF SURGE

The Hawks soccer team was unable to hold off a four goal surge by the visiting Franklin Road Warriors in the second half.  The Warriors were in the lead 2-1 at halftime but the Hawks carried the momentum going into the half scoring their lone goal of the game at the 35 minute mark.  The Warriors took the momentum back quickly after the break by scoring in the 52nd minute and proceeded to put the game away scoring 3 more times to win the game by a final of 6-1.  The Hawks fall to 1-9 overall and 1-8 in the MIAC Red.  The Warriors continue their efforts to win the MIAC red division by pushing their league record to 9-1.  Before the match, the Warriors were in a tie with Lutheran High Westland for the top spot in the  division.
