Cabrini 48 – Boys’ Varsity 46

The chilly temperatures outside did not stop these two teams from having a spirited, close, nip and tuck game all night. The first quarter saw the teams go back and forth with the Hawks trailing at the end of the first quarter 14-13.  Cabrini extended that lead to the largest of the game at halftime 28-22.  The Hawks took control of the third quarter outscoring the host 13-7 to tie the game at 35 heading to the 4th quarter. The back and forth continued all quarter with the Hawks having a shot at the end to win, but it wasn’t meant to be. Jonathan Tosto had 14 points and 8 rebounds for the Hawks with Cameron Ohlsson adding 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.  Logan Schliewe contributed 6 points and 6 rebounds.  Josh Taube also had 6 points. Zac Ott chipped in 5 points and 4 rebounds.  Logan Kittle rounded out the scoring for the Hawks with 3 points.

The Hawks travel to Roeper for a conference game starting at 7:30 on Friday, February 1.

Cabrini 61 – Boys’ JV 32

Jack Beeskow let the way with 16 points.  Andrew Olson added 9 points. Other scorers for the Hawks were Tommy Franka (3), Brian Wang (2), and Matt Neilson (2).

The JV Boys travel to Roeper for a game starting at 4:30 on Friday, February 1.
