Hawks News · Baseball Bounces Back with Victory over Southfield Christian


The Hawks opened conference play this week taking on Southfield Christian in a home and home matched.  Going on the road Tuesday, 15 walks and 7 errors gave Southfield Christian a 15-1 victory. On Thursday, Cameron Ohlsson shut down Southfield Christian’s offense, limiting them to only 2 runs and 3 hits while striking out 8 batters over the 6 innings he pitched to help the Hawks emerge victorious 4 to 3. Zac Ott pitched the 7th inning to earn the save.  The Hawks only managed four hits on the afternoon, but they were timely.  Logan Kittle had to of the hits to drive it one run.  Jonathan Tosto had one hit to drive in two runs.
