Girls’ Track and Field Team Takes 1st at Courageous Invitational

The HVL Girls’ Track and Field team took home 1st place in the Division 3/4 at the Courageous Invitational Meet at Wayne State University on Saturday.  Records are still being reviewed, but this is believed to me the first team victory at a meet for HVL. Softball Loses Close Game to Inter-City Baptist

Softball lost a tough one on the road to Inter-City Baptist, 8-6.  The Hawks jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the top of the third inning. Inter-City rallied scoring seven runs in the third and fourth innings.  The Hawks closed the gap to 7-6 in the top of the fifth, but couldn’t get any closer.
