Boys Basketball Open Gyms

Anyone interested in playing basketball this school year is welcome to come to HVL this Friday, next Monday, and next Tuesday nights (August 7, 10, 11) from 7:00 to 9:00 to play basketball.  Please contact Mr. Kasten at bkasten@hvlhs.org with any questions.

Softball Regionals/BB Camps/Spring Sports Banquet/Golf Outing

There is a great deal of activity going on in the next week even though school is out.  Here is a schedule of information. Softball Wins 4th Consecutive District Title

Congratulations to the softball team and their coaches on winning their 4th consecutive MHSAA District Championship today.  They were able to defeat Lutheran High – Westland 12-2 in 5 innings to win the semi-final game, and knocked off Plymouth Christian Academy 10-0, also in only 5 innings, to take home the title.  The Hawks move

Nate Hamilton Qualifies for MHSAA Golf Regionals

Congratulations to Nate Hamilton for qualifying for the MHSAA Golf Regional  next Wednesday, May 27 at the Polo Fields Golf and Country Club in Washtenaw.  Nate shot a 96 at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Course this past Wednesday in the District competition. Good Luck Nate!

Track and Field Concludes Season on a High Note

The Hawks Track and Field team concluded their season at the conference meet yesterday on a high note.  Troy Last, who broke the school long jump record three days ago, improved upon his record by 5 inches with a new school record of 18 feet 6 1/2 inches.  He was also finished in a tie

Troy Last Breaks HVL Long Jump Record

At the MHSAA Track and Field Regional on Saturday, Troy Last set a new HVL record with a jump of 18 feet 1 3/4 inches which was good for 7th place overall.  He also added a 4th place finish in high jump. Jenna Lovell scored the only points for the Hawks on the girls’ side,
