Baseball Comes Up Short Against Trillium

Hawks Baseball Rallies Late to Defeat Plymouth Christian 5-4

HVL nabbed the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Plymouth Christian Academy on Monday. The Hawks were down 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Tristin Thompson doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs. Thompson was on the pitcher’s mound for HVL. HVL baseball and softball games have been cancelled today, Thursday, May 3 due to rain. Baseball District Draw Announced

The District Draw for the HVL baseball team was announced today.  They will play on Saturday, June 2 at Plymouth Christian Academy against Plymouth Christian Academy starting at 12:00 p.m.  A win would move them into the District Final which would take place immediately after their first game.

Baseball Recap for Week of April 9

Tuesday, April 10 – HVL baseball defeated Auburn Hills Christian 21-4 on Tuesday thanks to a timely 11 runs in a big second inning. Zac Ott, Lorenzo Carraro, Logan Affholter, Nick Vanderveen, Jared Glasel, and Joshua Taube all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.  Zac Ott was the winning pitcher for the Hawks.
